Mobiado Classic 712EM Wood-Encased Cell Phones

Those of you who remember the wooden-encased computer plan run in a certain woodworking magazine in days gone by may be interested in the news of this luxury item that came across our editors' desks this summer. The Mobiado company has updated their Executive Model cell phones to the Classic 712EM, with exotic wood inlaid into an anodized aluminum frame and connected to a solid wood top of the case for a cell phone. (The phones work with any GSM network operator.) Available in cocobolo, ebony, burl white or burl black, the suggested retail price for the 712EM is $2,800.
